    TypicalCreepahx Hello There! ( ͡⚆ ͜ʖ ͡⚆)

Just got a brilliant idea that would help a lot of people complete sets without breaking their piggy banks. Basically this thread is for completing sets. So basically what you have to do is get a folder ( dansco, whitman, etc..) and to get the coins to complete this set you can ONLY trade for it, or you'd have to have it already. You can also find them while coin roll hunting but most coin sets that are older will take CENTURIES if you CRH. ( Basically anyway of acquiring them without spending money )So here is what you have to do to enter:

    1. Post what set your trying to complete. ( mercury dimes, buffalo nickels, etc.. )
    2. EVERYTIME you get a coin for your set through one of the methods listed above you post a pic ( doesn't have to be fancy ) and take a pic of your set ( so far )
    3. Tell a story of how you got it ( CRH, trade, etc..)

This will be an interesting thread. :) hope you guys can join in! I still need to get my mercury dime dansco so I'm not entered yet.

    How to get a coins:
    -Trading ( with others )
-Finding ( CRH or Metal Detecting, etc.. )
-Being Given It ( given to you )

Hopefully you will all have fun with this thread!

I have plenty of buffalos and will donate a nice starter set to the person who sends me a PM describing how they plan to complete the set and keep it.

I really don't think someone will give me a Gettysburg to fill that last hole in my Classic Comm. set.

I actually tried to do this before by doing a Dansco 7070 with only prizes from contests on here. But, even back in the day, older coins were very rare as prizes. And then you still had to get lucky enough to win them! XD

I need a 1794 half if anybody wants to trade for a roll of mixed date BU Morgans or an 1873 proof set.

Not sure if this counts for this type of challenge but I am wanting to complete a year set for all lincoln cents from years 1909-present composed exclusively of errors and/or varieties.

I have alot of various coins i collected in my early collecting year such as mint state morgans, wheaties g-mint state, mercury dimes g-xf, and buffalo nickels. Just ask for year.

Why wouldn't it count? That seems like one heck of a challenge to complete with trading.

Sounds good. I would like to finish my Standing Liberty Qts. Need a 1923s and upgrade on a 1921, and 1927s. Not going after a 1916 or a 1918s/1917. My set consist of mostly XXF to MS 65FH. These last ones will be hard to get in the conditions that I want afford or can trade for. I'm working on my Indian Cents too. Too many sets to finish.

Are you going for all dates and mint marks or just a date set?
