A Box of Pennies resulted in this..

    Really the only thing worth looking at or keeping from 2500 pennies. I am constantly dissappointed in how impossible it seems to take a picture that really shows toning well.

    I agree, picking up the true colors on copper is tough.:(

    Using light with a limited amount of spectrum will result in your images not showing full color. I did not have any luck showing a toned spot on my 49-s wheat cent until I purchased 6500k CFLs.

    Sorry guys I'm new to this but I need help with two things and don't know how to start my own thread. Buti found a 1918 d wheat penny but the thing about it is that the D mint mark is mint marked over top of the top half of the 8 I'm 1918. Is there anyone that can help me out with identifying this coin and how much it's worth. Also how can I start my own thread asking the same question so that I can put the pictures that I have of it on here? Thanks for the help in advance.
