I purchased a 2005 Proof Set. The Bison nickel has a detached leg (I have seen this before), but, there is a patch of hair between the two front legs of the coin. This area is textured (to give the "Hair Effect") on all my Bison nickels except for on the proof coin. One third of this area (from the leg on the left) is smooth (flat) with no texture. Is this common on the proof coins or is it somthing I should look into? I would attach a picture, but I dont want to break open the set to take a good picture. Any thoughts? The attached picture is not the best, but I hope you get the general idea of what I am talking about. Are there anymore proof sets out there like this?
