Oh, I'd slab it for sure. Although it will probably get around au58, you'll probably pay about $16-$20 to get it slabbed for a coin that will be worth much more than that...in both monetary and personal value.

I'd say have it graded for authenticity purposes. Very Nice Find. I am still looking to find a wam. Congrats!

NICE FIND! I searched well over 75k cents before I found one.

That one is worth getting slabbed. If the luster is strong, it will definately come back MS. My grade guess is at least 64 based on the pictures.

The major TGP's can't grade a Memorial cent correctly, they over-grade consistently. I found a 99 WAM last year and I graded it as MS-63/64 RD, it came back from NGC as MS-65 RD. My coin had a lot of luster, that's mainly what they grade from.

Very nice find. I personally just don't have the patience to go through all those cents.

Thanks all i enjoy all my treasure hunts even when they dont produce..

I have 1 final question on this can anyone submit to pcgs or ngc or do you have to become members???

You have to be a member. The easiest and probably the least expensive thing to do is to take it to a trusted coin dealer and have them submit it for you. My dealer only charges me $25 for NGC.

Go with PCGS, NGC has been slow on dealer submissions.
