A few days ago I as at a coin show i was looking through a 90% silver box, filled with awesome (circulated) mercury dimes when i came upon an 1838 seated dime! cleaned and honestly looks really bad but definitely worth the buck thirty that I paid for it. then a few moments later I found a 1912 barber dime with a liberty that was full and strong!!! damaged, but still appears to be in VF30 condition with good eye appeal otherwise. I was wondering that was the coolest thing that you have found in a 90% silver box?
I have gotten a few worn seated liberty and hundreds of barber dimes and quarters in the mixed 90% boxes. best I did was a full set of pds 1921 walking liberty halves, ill be it they may have only been good-very good but still.
Here is a few I've picked this year out of 90% boxes. Amazing finds above. I have pulled many Barbers out of junk silver. Not many lately, since there are fewer junk silver dealers at the shows that I attend lately
