I also found this. Probably PMD but is it possible its a strike through? How can you tell? Thanks :)

I'd highly recommend going back the next time you're nearby. However, If I were you, I would send a parent or close friend in my place under the pretense that I'm having a garage sale or some similar event this weekend. In my experience, it's a potent excuse, particularly for banks that you rarely ever visit or those that are relatively unwilling to part with rolled coins.

Yeah, I’m planning on going back. They had some more rolls, hopefully I could find some more W quarters :)

The damaged coin is interesting. It looks like the instrument that made the marks stuttered across the coin. If I tried to do that with an instrument I would most likely stab the other hand. I wonder how they were made?

You can tell it's not a strike through because of the turned up displaced metal at the edges of the gouge(s). Also you might be able to see a bulge on the reverse from the impact...both are a good diagnostic to verify it's not a strike through.

Totally correct. Meow has recently found a pawful of BU tallgrass quarters with a genuine strike through. One can see the devices through the obstruction still, in certain places.
