    So the L on the side of this 73 S is what other than barely there - just trying to learn 73s light L.jpg

    Definition: A lamination erroroccurs when metal flakes off the surface of a coin or planchet. It is generally believed that the flaking, peeling, and cracking is due to impurities in the alloy which causes metal to separate along horizontal planes of weakness.

    And the L could be due to over polishing with this case. Maybe struck through grease, but I'm leaning towards over polishing die
