Well after about 5 years of checking my change and only getting wheat cents or old nickels, I finally got something worthy! I bought a 75 cent slushy today and the quarter I got back from the dollar I paid with was from 1938 :D

    Whoopie!

I think that makes it a negative seven dollar slushy!

    Congrats!

Nice find. Now, go to the coin shop, sell it, go back, get six more slushies. Look at quarters in change.Ask yourself, "Is this silver?" If you said yes, go back to step one. If no, drink slushies:D

i would be happy with a nickel form the 70's with an s mintmark. but i must say that is one heck of a changeback

That's awesome! See, you can still find silver in circulation.

  7. Nice find! If you spiked that slushy, it might actually be a 1988 quarter...just kidding. :D Congrats. TC

This sounds fishy.... what flavor was the slushy?

It was at my highschool for those of you wondering, and the flavor was blueberry ;)

Too bad it wasn't cranberry.. Tastes better with vodka..

Anyway, CONGRATS!! I picked up an INC 1902 in change 2 years ago.. I'd give it a VF to AU grade..

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

I like slurpees. Getting back a silver quarter makes it that much better! :)
