The following pictures show how the new dollar coin changes color over seven days of wear in hands and pockets.

if that's just 7 days, I can't imagine what they will look like in only 1 year....not good!

I like the aged version better than the new version.

Stop playing with the time machine. It's only for certain people involed with serious work. .. like going back into the past and bringing forward wonder coins. (Where did you think they all keep coming from?)

Okay, This is my washie after about 2 weeks in the pocket. Not just in the pocket but I flip it, hold it alot when I am not using my hands otherwise...On the whole I would say that the effect is the same as being in regular circulation...no extra ordinary wear. It has toned real nice. Now that it isnt reflecting every bit of light in all directions it also phographs much better. I just like circulated coins more on the whole. I think its a nice looking coin...they are growing on me...I am looking forward to the next release now :)

Smullen,it is impossible to get a circulation coin without bagmarking,as the coins are bagged for distribution through the banks.I do notice a tiny ding on the rim on the reverse above the 'F' in 'OF' though.
