I missed posting this due to my feeling bad when I hit this number a few days ago. I feel good enough to do it this evening. Here is a nice looking Liberty Seated Silver Dollar dated 1870-CC. Only 11,758 were minted. I have owned this coin for about 30 years now and it continues to be one of my favorites.
I paid a bit less than the price on the slab but today my 2022 Red Book lost the value at $1200.00. I like that. I wonder if it would grade a grade higher today but I have no intention to trying. She’s just worn from circulation but not beat up.

Congratulations on the 68,000. I like coins that had to work for a living.

Something magical about that Carson City mint mark. And yes, I do believe that one would go better than VG today.
