well OldDan i always thought u were kidding about the 62 Peace dollar but i saw it on Coin Facts and wow all melted away! Was it a commomerative coin or something??? 1964 wasnt very long ago and why did the gov release this coin?
They didn't release it - but it's not entirely clear that they were all accounted for and destroyed either.
