5th Issue Meredith Fractional in Gem!! Short key

    Hello Everyone...

Just wanted to share with you the latest fractional to my new collection!

I also just picked up 2 nice New York $100 for the NY collection as well as 2 additional $50's.
Sorry for not posting pics of the NY Notes but as mentioned due to the huge task I am holding off until I complete the set!
Side tracked on the fractionals for a moment but still adding to the NY's!! [IMG]

Wow very nice! She is a beauty, the ones I have seen are almost always so trashed they look like they got shredded and put back together. But she is very nice. Looks like you have a nice collection of smilies also, lol. ;)

    Hello Phoenix,

Thanks for taking a look. I am getting pretty excited about collecting these.
The only problem is, I have a huge want list and a little budget!!
LOL I think most of us are in that boat right?? :p :p

RickieB - i started looking on Ebay for more fractionals after you posted your last (or rather 1st) fractional. I also took a look at what i actually have, i dont have an almost complete set (meaning not with all the varieties) i have an almost complete type set i guess its called... meaning i almost have one of each series or each denomination lol... silly me =)

I quickly got upset looking on Ebay for fractiuonals this time however. None of the notes are listed by their friedberg number, so i have no idea if the note is one i already have or not. And per Ebays normal operating perameters, the descriptions of all these notes leave a LOT to the imagination =(

Fractionals are interesting, and the vingettes are usually awsome!!!

Your welcome. lol, I think almost all of us are in that boat, lol. I'm starting a set of RPM variety lincoln cents (59-date) and see this can get pricey in the long run, but it'll be fun. I also want to do a set of Capped Bust dimes, proof sets, etc. lol. But starting with the RPMs. But, whoever said coin collecting is easy? :D Lol, nice fractional, and I am keeping an eye out for ya.

    Brian....
What an exceptional World Note collection you have!! I really like the note with the Aircraft on it.
Thanks for having the link on your post's.

Is the Sadam Note increased in value since his demise?? Just wondering. Very cool collection!!

The Sadam notes (I've got more denominations that aren't up yet) are basically worthless. Maybe worth a buck or so on a good day.

The collection is a start. I just started with notes not long ago & so far haven't got much. My main interest for notes is German Notgeld emergency notes (coins too) from the post WWI era. There are 1,000's of different notes & many are very artistic. I don't have much of that online yet.

    Here's one example...

I haven't done anything on the fractionals yet, but do plan to get some.

    Brian, (Anemic Oak)

Every year I go over to Germany at least two times....I often have time to tool around the Klon area and smaller towns North west of Klon. You should send me a list of things you are interested in and ya never know what I might find on one of my trips.

    Let me know...:)
