so I got some rolls from the bank today. I found this nice 1957p Wheatie. I took a couple of pic. Of it to post and realized there’s a crack across Abe’s head. Die crack maybe??! I’m trying to get a better pic. But I think I have found a lamination error.

I can take a toothpick and press on the area it moves!!

I’ll try and get a better pic......

    Picking your teeth..
    Picking up food...
    Building model bridges..
    Removing iPhone SIM cards...
    Checking cracks on Lincoln’s head..

    I bet there’s more...

Die Cracks and Laminations are two totally different issues!

In 1995, I took an AutoCAD course which required that I design and construct a bridge with a 12" span entirely out of toothpicks. Weights were hung from the center of the span to gauge its strength. It held 225 pounds.

Me too. Auto and 2000 cert.. you got me bet on that. 12” span radius of 44” 187.#. Second place

Two for one die cracks. Looks like a chip on the bottom crack, which was a progression of the die failing. Now you can use that tooth pick to get that crud off.
