50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar Set... how to get capsules out?

I bought one from a fellow Coin-Talker. I want to look at the reverses of the coins, but... I feel really dumb... I can't get them out.

What am I missing? Thanks.

I recall having the same issue. Try carefully prying them loose by sticking the handle of a spoon/fork under the capsule.

I also believe there were threads about this back in 2014, but I can't find them at the moment. Try looking back on this forum.

No idea why they had to put them in there so tightly. I swear that one of them had glue behind it...
