$50 Gold Piece (Beautiful) Like New !!! Selling @ Cost WoW !!! Hi Grampa here with a real Treasure a 1 Troy oz. Pure Gold $50 gold Piece, a Real Rare piece of History. I won this particular Coin at the Texas Unclaimed Property Auction in 2012, Competition was tough but I won, and have had it on display in my coin Cabnet for a year now and it's time to move on... I don't collect Gold as it's to expensive for me, I like Volume and you can't get gold in volume like you can in Silver or at least you used to be able to get it... Anyway I saw this coin and two things caught my eye right away, 1'st it looks brand New (been in storage for years in a safe deposit box, 2'nd it has Roman Numerals for the date (Very Nice and impressive), so I bid on it and others seemed to think it was worth something too as they were bidding against me, where are they now???. I checked with the source (Scottsdale silver ) and their price for a new 1 Troy oz. $50 Gold coin (No Roman Numerals) is $1789 ++PP & Postage...As you can see I bought for $1800 a little more or consider it a premium for the first year (1986) I think it's worth at least a $11 premium for this Coin; These Coins aren't made anymore with Roman Numerals, a Real collector's item See pics and Receipt from Texas and EBAY and I've decided to let it go to someone that collect's Gold and will Treasure it as I did...
