5 sols token 1796 - identification ?

    Acquired this in an antique shop for 50p, think it is French Colonial - precise ID would be awesome !

    There's also a Roman AE, but it's in pretty rough condition so I'm unsure whether identification would be easy.

    Can't help you with the French token, but I am fairly sure the Roman is described as "Anonymous of the period 330 to 346 AD" with the wolf suckling Romulus and Remus on the reverse. These along with a variation for Constantinople were issued at a time when Constantinople became twin capital of the Roman Empire. They are very common!
