    I hit it big today! Well today and a couple days ago. I found the 2 wheat pennies and the one from 1890 today and the other steel penny a couple days ago and the gold plated a little while back. What do you think they are worth?

    Can you get a close up of the mint mark on the 1951?

    Gold plated = $0.02, it's a copper penny...
    Wheats = 5 cents each.
    Indian head = $3.00 or so.

    When I was in the state of Penna. last month I would always look through the loose pennies near the register. a few times I found some new 2010 cents and other times the 2009 cents. So I would tell them what I was doing and put five cents in the container. One woman even said that they get them at the bank. forgot to ask what bank. Oh well.

    Gold plated = 1¢
    Wheats = 3¢
    steel = 10¢ if you are lucky due to the rust
    1890 = to sell, if you had a roll, you might get 50¢ for it. You could probably buy one for 75¢ to $1.
