Hello... I was looking at my 5 oz America the Beautiful Quarters & upon a closer look at the 2010-P Hot Springs America the Beautiful Quarter I noticed on the obverse side at the top of the rim there are ripples on the edge. I never noticed it when I got it. It's on the coin not the holder because I opened it just to see if it was on the coin. Only have one Hot Springs so I could not compare it, but I looked at my other ATB 5 oz quarters and they do not have this ripple. Does anyone else have one with ripples? Obviously this is something that happened during the production is there a term for what this would be called? Thank You
OK thank you, so if I sold it how would I describe it? I have the only one? If I would send it to be graded any idea what they might put on the label? Thank You...
I would bet there are more just like it. The services would not put it on the label but it might effect the grade.
