I received 4 of the 5 other 2010 2 Pound Doubled Dies. Now I have 5 raw and 5 graded. So, I now have a set of 10 examples. I emailed the mint to see if they could give me a estimate of how many might have escaped but to no avail. These are the only 10 I've come across in 3 years.
Very nice. Put in an order about five months ago. Waiting for the gentleman to get back from England. Not sure exactly what he's going to bring back. Have to go up and try to put an order in today. Found someone else who will be coming from England shortly. I think I'll see if I can get a couple rolls of the 2 pound Coins. USMC60
thanks for the comments guys. The last piece actually arrived in todays mail. I have had the first group about a year and then graded them. The are the only known with PCGS and NGC. I also checked other grading companies as available and couldn't find any. I find it odd that these coins were minted in 2010 and I can find zero out about them in media or online at all. So I took a fellow forum members advice and forwarded them to coin world, Numismatic News, and Mint Error news to see if it is in fact a discovery piece or if others were reported prior. Chris
