Ok - i got 28 new countries that i have set up pages for under my coins heading seems Christmas came early, and what did i find in santas bag? a whole slew of world coins - 35 countries to be exact!!! doing the math, it seemed i had coins from 7 already setup ... so... i wont list them all, but visit here to check them out. I dont have any of the coins posted 'yet' but i am picking up my scanner tomorrow, and barring any yelling by the wifey, i should be able to scan some and get them posted. thanks for looking!!!!
Daggerjohn... Keep up the great work...they are some very nice looking additions..:thumb: Regards, RickieB
well, i found a binder in my safe that i had largely forgotten about since i was a kid. I had coin pages filled with coins from around the world. I bought them off a classmate whose brother traveled in the navy or something. I bought all for face value, witch to us, if it had a 1, it was a penny, a 5 was 5 cents and so on ... got some canadian loonies for a penny, and a Portugal $5.00 coin for 5 cents... but we were both happy. I didnt learn until years later what 'conversion' meant and how to figure it all out lol i think in the long run, he got 'hosed' but it certainly wasnt intentional!!!!! So, after going through that binder, and sorting all those coins, i added 6 more countries that were not represented on my site, and a bunch of game tokens, and what looks like a german telephone token??? or something like that... I do have 2 coins i could not place due to not being able to type into google what they said... SO, i will post them here in a bit if i can scan them with a semi-broken back-up scanner......
