And on the right you see one of the few modern coin designs I actually like. They should modify that design and put it on the dollar coin.

Love that Constitution Bicentennial Gold. At one time I set out to get that one, but got sidetracked. Thanks for sharing Stella!

    the Bi-centennial gold were:
    unc 214,225
    proof: 651,659

All the more reason to buy a copy of the Guide Book (Red Book).

    Thank you!

I guess I'll have to buy another one. I always had mine in my desk, but haven't been able to find it for a month. Gettin' old and forgetful I reckin', ha.

    I appreciate your help!

    I like 'em both.

I'm an old school type collector - classic US stuff, mostly 18th / 19th century. I add moderns to the display. That old silver and gold looks great accompanied by the new stuff.

I actually never saw that before but you are right. That is a wonderfully sharp modern design.

    Keep the photos coming

They probably won't accept them for groceries at WalMart. Very nice designs & photos. Keep the photos coming.

    Very best regards,

I think the gold commemorative designs from the 1980s are underappreciated.

I completely agree. They are nice looking coins that a lot of the time can be found at or near melt.
