$5 black ink small bill

    Hi A friend of mine has this 1965 $5 bill that is much smaller in size of the normal bill. It has mostly black ink with a shade of green. Have you ever seen a bill like this. Also it is genuine.

    Definitely looks fake. Look at Lincoln's portrait, it looks like it was photo-copied.

    Play money. Usually sold in sets.

    There are ways to chemically treat genuine notes to get them to shrink down to a small size like that. I can't tell from the picture if that is a genuine note or some kind of copy.

    I haven't seen the note personally, but i'm sure he wouldn't spend it and he wanted me to do some research on it. These are the scans he sent me.

    I used to have some play money like that, they used to sell it in sets with plastic fake coins.

    Use the marker they use at the stores to check for authenticity. That'll prove it's not real.
