$5.00 Gold recent pickup.

    Here is a five dollar gold piece I just picked up in a collection that I picked up. Any thoughts on the grade? I dont collect gold so its heading for Ebay shortly, just noticed there is a nice difference in price when you get in the higher grades. Help?

    AU55 sounds about right...just a little bit of wear on the high points and no big, detracting marks.

    Well from the experts here I say I did ok on this one. It was listed as a VF when I bought it, Just picked up a bunch of other coins, Including an unc 38 d/s Buffalio. Will post that when I get a chance! Thanks guys, always fun to get opinions here in Coin talk.
