O.K. so you got a 1946 nickel. Are you trying to say the war should have gone another year, so it would have been silver, or what?
LOL !!!! Had the Gov. exhausted their supply or were the 1946 lincolns still being made from spent wartime shell casings as with the '44 and '45's?
I find many from the 50's and before when I look through rolls of nickels...but I haven't in a while...I did find a Nickel from Canada a few weeks ago. Speedy
