I've uploaded a few pics of a 44S Mercury Dime...As you'll see, there's a sort of two-tiered chunk missing from the reverse. Since the coin is in pretty bad condition, I'm thinking this is post mint damage, but if anyone with more experience wanted to chime in, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Drew
Thats pretty unusual. And to tell you the truth I'm not really sure what to call that. Is it a 2 part laminination, or a lamination on a defective planchet? Let somebody else explain this one...
