Thats a very nice Walker that you have there spock. I'd have to give it an MS63 from what I can tell from the picture.
MS-63 I want to say. Probably worth around $35 in its raw state. Would be worth more on the market if it was certified and graded by one of the top three grading companies.
Spock: That coin is a candidate for the full strike designation on Walkers that I have been fighting for for years. Very nice.
spock: There isn't any such designation, but look at how flat the strikes are in some 65 and 64 slabs and then compare them to yours. Look at the head, nice full detail. Even a split on the thumb (on the skirt) and full skirt lines. With coins like yours, a very scarce full strike, there should be such a designation.
I think the picture is gone. PCGS is pretty harsh right now. I have a $10 Libbie which PCGS has graded 62 in the past. I think it should be a 63, so I sent it in. Came back AU58. Nonsense; it's mint state with no luster breaks. In fact, it's darn near proof like. Some have opined that PCGS is the most inconsistent of the top TPGs. Fortunately, we have a choice, and can vote with our feet.
Where's the pic man? I've heard PCGS is really getting tough these days, but I don't know, since I have sent no coins into them, or bought coins in there slabs. Phoenix
i dont have the coin in hand but the combined opinion of coin talk cant be wrong. yo peter can u get the image back up please from your backup files? thanks.
