43 nickel

    The alloy was changed from mid 1942 through the end of 1945. It's a much softer alloy of silver, copper and manganese.

    I know 42 to 45 have no nickel because of the war time. I have a few just havnt seen any with this patina I love nickels especially the war nickels. Thank you for the replies and the new knowledge.
