So I found this earlier today looking through some wheat cents. I don’t have a scale to weight it. Who wants to start taking bets on what it’ll weigh? I’m going to grab a scale tomorrow
Imagine what a coin would look like if it was struck with dies intended for a steel cent, the details aren't there.
You have a magnet? There's another way to check it. If it's ferromagnetic it will stick to the magnet.
The mush on the OP's coin is seen on cents from about 68 till 82. Yours at least matches Wheat die Obv and Rev designs. It's much more contemporary example.
Well just went out and after digging around I found a magnetic screw driver (non on my fridge weird I know) and....... it sticks . I kinda figured because it looked very “shiney” . Guess I don’t need to print off my 2 week notice.
Eghh there seems to be easier ways to make 100k. I’m curious on what the odds would be of actually finding one. Probably be better off playing powerball.
I saw a 1943 COPPER cent and noticed a "funky looking" 3 at the end upon looking closer saw tool marks. Yup it USED to be a 1948 with Dremel buff marks on it. so BEWARE of fakes.
Hi sir my friend have this copper it’s didn’t stick the magnet and the weight is 3.11 I don’t know if real or fake what do you think .thanks
Your friend has our best wishes and hopes...let's see it. BTW, when I go to his profile page, it's not available, anyone know why... @GDJMSP
