I have got an option on getting a 30th Anniversary panda (silver 1 oz) and wondered what are peoples opinion on it? Price is usual and it comes in a plastic capsule. I have tried to research about them but only come up with slabbed MS70 etc coins going for a ton. Anyway, anyone like/recommend these coins? I thought it would be nice to add into a world bullion collection. All for now, Tokyo.
I got an email about the 30th anniversary panda but when I saw it online I wasn't that impressed with it. It's basically the 2009 panda coin, which I have, with an outer ring proclaiming the 30th anniversary. I don't like the outer ring. It looks cheesy to me. So I'll be passing on it.
If you collect Pandas then you will need to purchase this coin to have a complete set. You should pay no more than $25 for it raw, $35 for a NGC MS69 and about $70 for a NGC MS70. I will be getting one to keep my set complete.
I highly recomend the Pandas even though I don't own any. As mentioned to have a complete set you need this one. If I get one I have to have them all and right now that is a bit much.
