I posted these on a different forum a long long time ago and never got any specific answers. HOpe you guys can help. The '83 has a (relatively) big gob of metal on the 8.
The 1983 has a die chip inside the lower loop of the 8. The 1943 cent is probably struck through grease, giving a weak 4. The 1941 cent has what is called a lamination peel. The 198X (?) zinc cent was struck by a worn die, and also may have copper plating shifting during the strike. Except the 1941, there's no added value, and even then it's little.
