I picked these three up today.
After having gone down near my dealer I stopped in on the way home and checked out the other ones after you guys told me the one he gave me for free was nice and held value.

He gave me 2 more for free and I bought one. I LOVE them, it's almost converted me to ancients LOL.

The silver slabbed one is an Orodes II (57-38 BC) Parthian

The other silver is Roman? I haven't been able to classify it yet. Only been home an hour and already heading back out so it will be a project for tonight.

I bought slabbed and the other two were free.

Congrats, I want free ancients XD. The serrated one is Roman Republican and the other Roman a siliqua. Unless you want help, you should be able to identify them.

Haha yeah I have a good repertoire with him as I advertise for him.
Ill try to find them XD
What's a good place to look that would show values?

To look up values, you can try www.vcoins.com and search the emperors name, though Vcoins tends to be over priced sometimes.

Sadly real world value is ebay.

As for the coins, those are excellent. The top one is a siliqua as Randy mentioned. Those in general are scarce. Many times siliqua are "clipped", this to me, does not which is a plus. The serrated roman republic looks to have some wear but overall its a great addition.

    The
Parthian is very nice. I dont own a Parthian or a serrated roman republic.

Well he gave me the 2 coins for free so I figured id buy the other slabbed one.
if I did over pay the two free could fill the gap.

Parthians, usually, can be found for $40-$60 depending on if its centered and so on.

BBA has had them in the $40s, nice too.

I saw they were selling on eBay for $90+ in good shape.
still, 4 ancients for $150 aint bad.

With mine being in good shape and silver color would it make it more valuable? I've found other like it but not the same one.

    $100 for which one?

Yes, I wasn't sure which one he was referring to.
    I'm finally home.
The coins are all already attributed. Prices based on original owner.
    The siliqua is attributed Valentinian I 300 A.D. $20

    The Roman Republic - AR Denarius L - Roscius Fabatus 64 B.C.
OBV - Head of Juno Sospita
Rev - Female Virgin Standing - Feeding Serpent Erect
    'Fabati' in Exergue
    $50

    Parthia
Orodes II AR Drachm 57-38 B.C. (On The Slab)

I'll try to find them online with this info.

Uh...$20 for that Silqua? Ill pay that in a heatbeat! Thats a steal itself.

Roman Republic...decent price, could be worth a bit more though.

Well I got them free XD so I'll try to find the realized value next.
It's amazing handling these coins 2,000+ years old!

Exactly, its nice not having to use the U.S. modern coin rules as much huh?

Plus they have all been cleaned at some point, try selling a cleaned coin to a hardcore u.s. collector. :p
