These are a few of the coins I recently came across. They were my father in laws before he passed away. I had no Idea my wife even had them. She pulled them out the other day and said that she thinks he got them a long time ago when her parents used to buy storage lockers when people didn't pay their bill. We've been married almost 14 years and this would have been way before we ever met. Images 4 and 6 are of the same coin. The reverse side is in english, but the front is in like old english or some other language. Not sure what country this coin is from. image 7 is a Canadian coin and 11 and 12 is a spanish coin. Both of which don't seem to be in terrible shape. How can I tell if they are real or fake?
here is the front of the canadian coin... upon further examination this seems like it almost has to be some kind of a replica coin, but i'll go ahead and post since ive gone this far already.
I've got some of the same kind of coins the other day, although I have several with the same wording like the first one, so like you I'm also interested. I have the same one as the first, 1937 one penny,1935 half penny,1943 half penny, 1918 one cent canada and 1919 one penny
Most of them are cheap coins that I can see. No reason why they are countefeit. I thought the second coin is a token of some sort, Quebec token of some sort.
