Hello, This is my 250th post, so just a quick contest to thank the Cointalk people for your help and entertaining threads The way to win is to predict two things: 1.Who will win the Euro 2012 Finals (Spain or Italy),how will they win it so you specify the score (1-0 etc) and when they will win it (Normal time, Extra time and Penalties if penalties say the score too) So the format isTeam name) (Score) (Team name) ( period they won)E.G Spain 0-0 Italy Penalties (4-2) (means Spain won on penalties) 2.Who will win the Irish Open and their score. Format is: (Player name) (Score) E.G Rory Mcilroy -13 A link to the leaderboard at the end of day 3: http://www.europeantour.com/europea...rnamentid=2012046/tournamentcentre/index.html So post your guesses, the contest will end at 5pm GMT (2hrs 45mins before the match starts) The prize is the remains of an Irish threepence collection (the way I got them today in the post 2 are cleaned and one dirty I`m sorry), an eye glass (which is useless my my young eyes but someone else will appreciate it) and some other things I will throw into the package some British or other Irish coins I have lying around. Yes, they are not worth a million dollars to anyone, I just don`t have alot right now. Ok, Donaldson won! Well done to the few of you who predicted that. Now for the match! I will make up a "marking scheme" to figure out who won later after the match or tomorrow. Those who predicted Donaldson, you have a way bigger chance than those who didn`t So enjoy the match if you`re watching it
andersonelijah you`re a bit late I`m afraid OK it was Spain 4-0 Italy Normal time! brg5658 is the winner! The way I marked it was 50% for each guess (football 1 and golf 1) If you got Donaldson thats 25/50, the score starts off at 25 and for every shot off I took off 10% of the 25. If you didn`t get Donaldson you got 0/50 :devil: Same with the football the name is the key the team name was 20/50, the score 10/50 taking off 2.5 for every goal wrong, and the time period was 10/50 aswell. So after completely wasting my time doing that marking system and getting a score for 5 people, I could clearly see brg5658 won!And the past about 6 lines are not worth reading So brg5658 if you could PM me your address Sorry to those who lost Thank you -Owen
