25 ASE anniversary.... yadda yadda

    Hello, I know how theres a million of these posts about the ASE 25th set. I just recieved an email and Im sure others did saying this... Greetings from the United States Mint.
    We regret to inform you that the item(s) listed below
    are currently on backorder. Please expect your item(s)
    to arrive within the timeframe listed below.

    Thanks again for shopping with the United States Mint.

    SO my question is what does that mean?

    I got the same message this morning. It means what it states, that the item has been back ordered. As if we all didn't know that. LOL I went in and checked my account expecting to find "in progress", but no, everything is still on "hold".

    I also received this email from the Mint but I take them with a grain of salt. In other instances, I've received similar emails, to be followed by an email a couple of weeks later saying the order had been canceled, followed by another a few weeks later saying the order had shipped. Oh well.

    What it basically means is that they don't have enough sets on hand right now to fill everyone's order, and acknowledges that they have received your order. It does not guarantee that they will fill YOUR order
