24 D and 26 S

    Just got back from a new coin shop ( to me ) and I picked these up:
    24 D 15.00
    26 S 3.00
    opinions on grades please! I feel I did VERY good
    I also picked up some MS Canadian cents one slabbed MS 64 1939 for 20$ and a 1949 A points cent(a tough variety) for 30 dollars! Undergrade to VF easily a XF IMO, so the whole trip cost me 85$
    Book value (grades are IMO) 165$
    EDIT: and the 26 S has a woody look to it on the reverse

    Darn. I thought you had bought '24-D and '26-S Buffalo Nickels.

    A little high on the 26S but the 24-D more than made up for it. You did well !!

    That 24-D was a steal at the price if I am remembering right (a $40+ coin in that grade?) Very nice! :thumb:

    shoulda saw a super nice 14 S I was bidding on.. the lurkers got it though

    I think you did pretty well. Those 1924-D Lincoln's can be hard to come by.
