I'm a closet collector of cheap, common Gordian III ants, nothing like your rare and beautiful denarius. I won't post them all, but here are a few.

Here's a sestertius of Gordian III. This would be a good thread to add your coins of Pupienus and Balbinus. (I don't have any.)

Then I would like to show my Balbinus, which I purchased a long time ago at ebay at a time when one could acquire nice coins there. Fro me, from point of the style, this coin is clearly superior to the Gordian II..

Great coins! I especially like your Balbinus denarius, Marc. He looks a bit like an uncle of mine in that portrait :)

My Gordian III is actually a 238 issue as Caesar under Balbinus and Pupienus.

BTW, a neighbor of my mother, who unfortunately passed away, took this photo of the Balbinus denarius where the item is depicted in in a similar manner as on the pictures of Ancient Joe's coins. Unfortunately, I am lacking the knowledge how to do this.
