Anyone know for sure if the silver coin in the 2 piece anniversary set is unique? I know it says it has the W mint mark but are there other releases of this same coin or is it strictly limited to the 20,000 listed in the set? Thanks
the silver three piece set contains a proof, a reverse proof and the unc with a W mint mark at a mintage of 250,000. the gold and silver set has the same silver unc with the W mint mark at a total mintage of 20,000 for a grand total of 270,000 silver unc coins with the W mint mark. you can go to the usmint.org home page and click on the pressroom, there is an artical there with all the mintages relating to these three sets.
