I just got an email from the Royal Mint advertising the availability of this coin. It looks beautiful and it is a small production run. Do you think it will appreciate? How well do the Gold Sovereigns do in general?
These are bullion coins... Maybe proof, but bullion nonetheless. 8g of silver for £80, or an extra £55 for a privy mark version? Honestly 50,000 doesn't seem like such a small mintage either. Just my opinion.
