I haven't posted in ages but .... Yes, it strikes again. Those US Mint Subscriptions that are turned ON for all eternity. They look far better in hand than these quick iphone pics. But I like them. Are you a US Minty ?
I am no longer a US Mint customer. My first order was 1959 and my last was about 2019. 60 years. Too much stuff to deal with.
The only new Morgan and Peace dollars I was interested in were the 2021's because of the anniversary. I lost out on all of them because I couldn't get through to the Mint's web page. The years since I have no interest in.
I had to go check my subscriptions to see if that was on the way too ... I really like the design of the Peace dollars. I have the Peace Morgan sets but I'm not really a Morgan collector. My great grandpa left me a few Morgans though which I still have; I wonder what my kids will do with them. None of them are really interested in coins.
I only have one kid...a daughter. She has zero interest in coins. She says she plans to keep them anyway because they were mine. But I try to keep detailed records and info on everything so that if she does decide to sell, she'll have a general idea of what stuff is worth and not get taken advantage of.
I have all my acquisition costs for everything in a spreadsheet including my 2000 bimetal proof. I'm sure it's not accurate as buying gold just 1 year ago vs today is quite different. So stuff from years and decades ago are way low ... but at least they have a number.
