A friend asked if the 2024 Native american dollars would be made available for general circulation or if they would have to be purchased directly from the mint? Can someone answer the question? Thanks in advance.
Thanks. I saw the mint sale info but am wondering if rolls will be sent to the banks for general circulation?
Although are legal tender they are not released into circulation. The way I understand it banks order the coinage they desire. Since people didn't like these coins banks stopped ordering them. The mint in turn stopped producing them for circulation and are still minted for collectors.
without sounding too stupid: Are these Sacajawea coins with a different reverse? Are there more than one year/issue? any information appreciated James
