Anybody else get the email from the US Mint that said for the first time ever, the 2022 ASE Proof W and S's are sold out based on existing subscriptions? What a mess the mint has become. Even the American Women quarters are unavailable in Rolls or Mint bags (what happened to unlimited mintage?). They are selling for ridiculous premiums on ebay. Waiting to see what happens to those prices when the mint catches up and offers more.
Unlimited doesnt apply with supply shortages. If they could easily source the blanks they'd likely sell them all year. They're already canceled some option products from the issue so it should be no surprise that there are internal limits on supply allocations of all products
I don't use the US Mint anymore. I can't see starting more long-range series with several different configurations. To have a set of quarters would mean at least 5 from 4 different mints. Then Silver, Proof, Reverse Proof on and on. Do this for 10 years again.
