Is this a regular looking scratch or is this a die gouge or a die crack. Any info on how to tell the difference from a scratch to a die error? AND ON THIS SeCOND mays quarter, I'm not sure goes I even go about even framing a question to search for this, I know it's not normal if it came from the Mint like this, appears to be a letter/design of sorts or something... thjng I can say for sure is is I found it its nothing hahaha

Using a toothpick (wooden) to determine if a mark is recessed, and then try to see if there is any metal displacement. Those are indicators of scratches and hits.
