Is it just me or does all the new quarters have In Cod We Trust instead of In God We Trust?
I compared the word God to a 2020 quarter and the G in God is just how it should be. The G in God on the 2022 quarter's does not look like a G it is a C

 

That is how the G was designed without a horizontal bar on the bottom upright, and a cud always involves the rim and spreads into the field as the die deteriorates further through overuse.

 

So this is a die break?

Looks like a small die chip by his mouth but the IGWT motto is a redesign of the obverse.

 

There's similar version of this die chip that's not all that rare on the Maya quarter too. It's referred to as the "Drooling George" on those.
