    Found this today in a new box of 2021 cents. Is this a capped die or just a lot of grease on the die? 2021fullrev.jpg 2021fullobv.jpg

    Oh wow that’s a nice one that is an extreme struck thru grease right there nice find.
    Now capped die it would be a lot mushier looking and all the detail would be exactly alike on the reverse you’d see the same percentage all over the whole coin.
    Now if it was a die asjustment strike that would affect the obverse as well and the rim would not be seen on the coin.
