2021 D Double Clipped Planchet

    Great addition to the shield cent error album. And on a DENVER CENT It’ll join its brothers 2018 & 2019 double clips. The blakesley effect is so strong opposite the clips on this coin.

    A nice find and addition to your collection.
    A mint released error coin. I personally do not consider a post 1982 Planchet Defect cent a Mint Made Error Coin as these coin planchets are no longer made at the mint.
    Yes, it was released from the mint which makes it a release error coin like a blank planchet. It may be a bit scarce to find, which can increase its value, but that will not change where the error was made.
    I also believe that every time I make a post on this site, I give every other member the opportunity to make a judgement on my knowledge and other things.
    This is my opinion and and I use it to place values on coins I may or may not want in my collection.
