2021 crossing delaware quarter

    Slight machine doubling is what you are seeing. They stopped the separate process of punching the MM into the dies in 1990

    Expat is right.
    No RPM on the coins since then.

    I've collected a nice batch of them over the past month or two, though I'm unsure if keeping them is worth it. What I like about this specific coin is the design has reinstated Washington's features on the obverse along with the date the way it used to be on quarters minted pre-mid-90s. Washington's features have returned to being full and robust now and not flat and shelf-like :)

    I don't know, but it looks to me like the depiction of crossing the Delaware is going the wrong direction.

    Also, General Washington was not pleasantly plump, from what I have read.
