With the release of the type two coming mid next month, do you expect as much or more demand than the type 1? I figure it should be at least about the same, but with the morgans and peace dollar all being released relatively close will it damper the demand for this one?
People will have years to collect the Type II SAE. The reverse change is a novelty right now, so demand will start out high, but it will settle and there will be plenty available.
I am out myself but still have yet to find someone to unload all my ASE mint sets 96 & up. I thought about just doing that, cutting it off at 20 years but would rather now just focus on older coins. Thing that really killed it for me was the white spots that grow and to have it removed they have to be sent in to graders again and cost of conservation/reholder just more frustrating/expensive then i like. maybe when i started out on them it should have been raw coins instead but lesson learned next time.
I received my Type 2 bullion Saturday, and my Type 2 Proofs are on their way. The Proofs go on sale at noon today, as a reminder. The Proofs are limited to 300k, let’s see what happens, as silver has been crazy/hard to get this year.
Surprised there’s not more chatter about this release today. Got a test run for the mints website. I ordered a couple from my phone. The first try it didn’t go through. Had to go through the process again and then it worked. Accepted order about ten after and they were sold out by 11:15. The product limit was 300k but mintage limit is a -. So they may make more for the limited edition silver proof set but who knows. People saying the website worked better this time on computer so guessing Morgans will sell fast. Website was very slow on my phone but I wasn’t on WiFi. At least order went through.
