2020 W quarter.

    6DD729C0-5A69-415C-9116-8E8E642BFA7A.jpeg What’s up y’all. Just found my first 2020 W quarter in a bank rapped roll and right away saw what looks to be some kind of rim error or cud? Or maybe just damage? Anyways I wanted to see what the experts think. Thank you all for looking.

    That might just be a ding on the rim but I cant tell because of the pictures.

    Look at your second photo. Almost next to your thumb. That's Damage. It's been hit by another coin.

    Interesting on the obverse side of this coin between the words "United" and "Liberty" I see some type of stamp. I've never seen one with that stamp before. What's the details about that stamp? Which quarters have that?

    It's to commemorate the anniversary of the anniversary of the end of WWII.

    It's called a privy mark. The V is for Victory and it's been 75 years since WWII ended. Something new the mint is doing this year.

    Cool. I didn't make the connection between WWII and the anniversary. Wish my Grandfather was still around to see that on the quarters. He served in the Pacific and was a bombardier in a B-17. Had some very interesting stories to tell. Thanks for the info about it.
