Wow this is a real good one. Extra thick liberty. Upper right of Y thicker the upper left of Y also some nothing on the erty. And the date look at the thick first 2 north and that second 2 being so skinny and distorted north east. great doubled die
"NOPE" ? ? ? Why?? You post something, why not give us a pic of the whole coin. Just because you "specialize" in a certain coin, does not make you knowledgeable. Semper Fi
Yeah burn your eyes out for a ddo or ddr that #1 isn't recognized by TPG's #2 value <1.1 cents #3 carry no interest what so ever. If your going to hunt...hunt big game....
ruthless crowd huh lol It’ll be listed on wexlers if it hasn’t been sent already. It’s in a pretty circulated condition so a higher grade would look way better. What I expected anyways shield doubled dies are to new for some people. There new school
Yea but seeing the coin isn’t gonna matter for a doubled die if the doubling is on these devices and in a full coin pic you wouldn’t be able to see that anyways.
Here’s a normal date 2020 and normal liberty taken from a pcgs true view. If you compare the two it’s night and a day. But again yea I see how others can’t notice bc there eyes aren’t trained for what to look for on shields
I’m not burning my eyes out at all they pop out to me like how a 1955 doubled die would for you. Idc about value I’m in it for searching and finding new Doubled Dies I can get listed. No interest I know plenty of people interested in shield cents and there doubled dies. It’s niche now just wait 70 years everyone will be looking for certain scarce doubled Dies (not saying this one is scarce)
It's not... worth the time or efforts....it won't be worth any more than a cent in 100 year! Sorry I've picked Way to many varieties in 50 + years....and I have discovery coins ,as well plate coins......that I have found. I also have a vault full of varieties that carry a heck of a lot more interest that this.....yet find someone who will pay you for them.....you wont. I have an ms 65 Jefferson 1946 S ddo ....its a $600 + coin....sitting on my desk......guess how many dealers are interested in buying it? Zero..... I've been a picker Way to many years.....not to know the market on varieties ......soft very soft....everyone wants varieties....no one wants to pay you for them.....
Yea but you’re talking about dealers thats your problem bringing them to dealers to sell. Most dealers aren’t into varieties or errors, yes there r some that might be but most go for older coins, grades etc. You’d find people interested in ur coin that aren’t dealers bc they are collectors. There’s a big difference between dealers and collectors.
