2020 d U.S. Virgin Islands Quarter Improper Annealing Error

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Brandon Purdum, Aug 1, 2023.

  1. I just wanted to get some opinions on this. This quarter looks like it *might* be an annealing error, but I'm terrible at assessing these things. I'm leaning toward environmental damage. If it is annealing it's not extreme. Thoughts?

I say no to Improperly Annealed. More like staining post Mint.

Not an annealing error. It looks damaged by the environment.
